After taking Perspectives in 1991, Bob trained as a coordinator and took short term trips to South Asia. It was at that time that he was profoundly impacted by the fact that it was the businessman, the educator and the artist in him that was the human connection to those in another culture. As a Potter, he connected most deeply. Today his passion and desire is to call all those gifted in the arts to the nations as a gospel bridge.

MY JOURNEY WITH PERSPECTIVES
While serving as the lay director of college ministries at First Baptist Church Brenham, I experienced God's call to full time ministry. I took Perspectives during the first year of my initial church staff position.  It turned out to be the tool God would use to alter my understanding of Scripture and ministry.
Perspectives became the "framework" for my theological studies during seminary.  I came to understand that the Bible is one book.  I discovered that God has "all the nations" on His heart and that believers have the privilege of joining Him in taking the Gospel around the world.  That answered the question of "why am I here?" for me. Perspectives has the potential to radically affect your walk with God. Perspectives has been an essential tool in mobilizing hundreds of lay people to become World Christians.
Bob now serves as one of the Professors of Record for Perspectives classes in south Texas. Bob is an Adjunct Professor with Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and Trinity International University.
